Quality

A key concern for all clients is how quality is to be achieved on a project, and how the builder is going to manage this process.

A key concern for all clients is how quality is to be achieved on a project, and how the builder is going to manage this process. Nuscope manage quality through the implementation of our Quality Management System. As part of the project supervision activity the quality process is implemented.

The system involves the use of trade specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for each of the sub-contractors and trades on site. ITP are drawn up and act as a check list for each contractor, and include the deliverables for each trade at key stages in the build process. Key deliverable for a trade include the checking of materials for compliance with specifications, installation tolerances, method of installation, and observing operation or tests of a system.

Quality Plans tie together the requirements of project specific documentation (drawings and specifications) with the corresponding industry standards. With industry standards being the compilation of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2006, National Construction Code as well as applicable Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.
